Anden

Anden is a landmark residential development that redefines medium-density living in Coogee. Designed by MHNDU for developer Central Element, the project fuses heritage Art Deco character with contemporary architectural form. ULTRA Building Co was engaged as builder to bring this complex vision to life—delivering a project that balances design ambition with technical excellence.

ULTRA’s delivery approach centred on precision detailing and respect for heritage fabric. The original Art Deco façade was carefully retained and integrated into a new L-shaped building structure, requiring exacting staging, temporary works, and façade retention systems. The project incorporated sustainable materials, high-performance glazing, and energy-efficient building systems, aligning with ULTRA’s commitment to environmentally responsible construction.

Anden has been recognised as an award-winning benchmark in design and construction, combining architectural heritage with contemporary, sustainable living. For ULTRA, the project showcases our capability to execute complex builds in constrained environments while delivering quality outcomes that set new industry standards.
