Bourke & Phillip is a mixed-use luxury development delivered by ULTRA Building Co for Britely Property. Situated at 859 Bourke Street, Waterloo, the project combines residential and retail within a high-quality architectural form, enhancing the vibrancy of one of Sydney’s fastest-growing inner-city precincts.
As Principal Contractor under a Design & Construct contract, ULTRA was responsible for the full delivery of structure, services, and finishes. The project involved complex watertight basement works requiring watertight construction, integration of retail tenancies at ground level, and premium apartment finishes above. Close coordination with consultants and trades was critical to managing the constrained urban site and achieving quality outcomes across all elements of the build.
Bourke & Phillip successfully delivered 40 high-end residences with retail activation at street level, adding long-term value to Waterloo’s evolving urban landscape. For ULTRA, the project stands as a strong example of our capability to execute mixed-use developments that balance design ambition, commercial requirements, and construction precision.
